The Rosemary District Association Board needs your voice.
The greater the diversity of people active on the RDA Board, the more our neighborhood thrives and remains a wonderful place to live, work, and play — for everyone: young and old, renters and homeowners, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and property owners.
8 Reasons to Run for the Board
You want to stay on top of what’s happening in Rosemary District.
You want to contribute your voice to ensure Rosemary District is a diverse and vibrant community.
You want to meet your neighbors, city officials, developers and local business owners.
You want to flex your leadership muscles—or learn how to.
You want to learn about community engagement, neighborhood organizations or nonprofit boards.
You want to give back in an easy, meaningful way.
Rather than complaining, you want to be a part of finding solutions.
You love Rosemary District—and want others to love it too!
Every December, your neighborhood association seeks individuals interested in serving on the Board of Directors. Nominees for the Board are introduced at the January Community Meeting (or Annual Meeting) and elections are held.
If you are interested in running for office, now is the time to let us know by completing a Nomination Form.
Experience has shown that the RDA Board is most effective when its members meet the following criteria:
Familiarity with Rosemary District — Demonstrated by being a neighborhood resident or stakeholder for at least 1 year and a current member of Rosemary District Association
History of contributing time to RDA — Demonstrated by past or current work on an RDA committee or other volunteer service to RDA
Understanding the expectations of Board service and agreeing to meet them — Demonstrated in interview(s) with Board Nominating Committee member(s) and attending a Board meeting (if the calendar permits)
All nominees must be current members of the Rosemary District Association renewed through December of the year in which they are elected. A member of the Nominations Committee will contact each individual who submits a Nomination Form. Contact Us if you have any questions.
We encourage you to learn more about serving on the Board by speaking to a Board member and attending a Board meeting.
