Welcome to Rosemary District Association
Our vision is to become Sarasota's complete live/work/play neighborhood — celebrating creativity, innovation and the arts while respecting and preserving the area's cultural heritage.
Working together, we can make it happen.

Let the Design Begin!
Meet the park design team from Kimley-Horn on Wednesday, August 18, at 5:30 PM at WSLR/Fogartyville to learn what is possible at our park site and provide input.
The Historic Marker near the corner of Central Avenue and Boulevard of the Arts (formerly 6th Street) marks the heart of Rosemary District. Established in the 1880s, the area called Overtown was a thriving live/work/play African-American community.
Today, it is a growing, thriving and diverse live/work/play community.
RDA is a unique organization comprised of neighborhood residents, business owners, non-profit agencies and property owners working together to achieve our common vision. We welcome your participation, whether it's subscribing to our newsletter, becoming a member, volunteering for a committee or project, or running for the Board of Directors.
